Mr. Flecher Cook returns to Cyprus
Abstract
Mr. Fletcher Cook returns to Cyprus after completing his discussions with the competent minister of colonies. Although, the officials keep the results of the discussions announced, it seems that the British Government still aims at the importation of a constitution. On the other hand, a disbanded British major general, sir Edward Spears, has a different perspective on the solution of the Cyprus issue. He supports that Cyprus should sent representatives to the British Parliament because he says, Cyprus belongs to the British family thus they have the same rights and responsibilities with us. Moreover, Mr. Z. Rossides met with the General Secretary of the British Labour Party in London and discussed the Cyprus issue. The British Labour Party with a unanimous decision, strongly supports the self-determination of Cyprus. On the same page was also the British Liberal Party that Mr. Rossides visited a few days ago.
