Abstract

New turns on the case of the "Saint George" ship that was importing explosives illegaly to Cyprus. Police after hours of investigations, conducted, in the main office's of PEK, confiscated numerous documents and records. Among these records, handwritten subversive brochures were found that were likely to be published in Cyprus. On the indroduction of the brochures, the names of the abettors were shown and police procceded with the arrests. The mystery of Sokrates Loizides still remains unsolved. Some say he was already in Pafos some say he arrived with the ship. The interogations are being curried out in association with the British Military services under strict serveilance conditions and the main police objective is to find out where this subversive newspaper is been printed.
