Abstract
The countryside is organizing militia to counter a possible Turkish attack. The Lefkara region, following the example of Evrykhou and other villages, such as Ayia Napa, decided to form its own militia. In the Kalochorio the council reported complaints, which, in brief, wish for the auxiliary police to be seized or substituted by Greeks, since all the inhabitants are Greeks and they do not trust Turks.
