Εξαιτίας των Τουρκικών επιθέσεων η Επιτροπή Αυτοάμυνας Αμμοχώστου ανακοίνωσε ότι: Τον έρανο για τους Τουρκόπληκτους ανέλαβε η Εθναρχία, γι'αυτό να εγκαταληφθεί η πρηγούμενη απόφαση της Επιστροπής. Οι Τουρκόπληκτοι να δηλώσουν λεπτομερώς τις ζημιές στα Γραφεία του Δήμου Αμμοχώστου. Η Επιτροπή να επισκεφθεί τον Διοικητή της Αμμοχώστου και να συζητήσουν τα μέτρα προστασίας της χωής και της περιουσίας των πολιτών. Επίσης, αναφέρθηκε και το θέμα της πολιτοφυλακής ως προληπτικό μέτρο. Αμοιβαίες εγγυήσεις των δύο κοινοτήτων για εξασφάλιση ειρηνικής συμβίωσης. Τέλος, να διενεργηθεί έρευνα από τον Διοικητή για να εξακριβώσει αν τα μέτρα είναι ικανοποιητικά.

Due to the Turkish attacks the Self-Defence Commission of Famagusta stated that: The Ethnarchy will be responsible for the fund for those who suffered from the Turks, from now on, therefore, the previous decision of the Commission should be abandoned. Those who suffered from the Turks should visit the offices of the Municipality of Famagusta to declare in detail the losses. The Commission to visit the Governor of Famagusta and talk about the measures to protect the lives and properties of the citizens. In addition, it was stated the militia as a precaution measure. Mutual guarantees from both of the communities to preserve the peaceful co-existence among the citizens. Finally, the Governor should instigate a research to see if the measures are satisfactory.
