Although the Cyprus Turkish Merchants Association claimed that they are supporting the Cyprus Turkish Party and the Federation, they had candidates in the Evkaf elections and it shows that they are not working for the betterment of the Turkish Cypriot community.
Kıbrıs Türk Tüccarlar Derneği'nin Kıbrıs Türktür Partisi ve Federasyon'u desteklediğini söylemesine karşılık, Evkaf seçimlerinde karşı adaylar çıkarmaları eleştirilerek, Kıbrıs Türk Tüccarlar Derneği'nin Kıbrıs Türk halkının faydasına çalışmadığı vurgulanıyor.
