Three people shot on 31 July 1956:
1. Panayiotis Petrou (Παναγιώτης Î ÎÏ„Ïου), 24, from Trypimeni was shot in Nicosia. He was shot five times while sitting at his office (he was an employee of merchant Sophocles Chr. Michaelides in Perikleous Street). A crowd rushed to the site of the murder, and shopkeepers closed their shops.
2. Four armed masked men entered a coffee shop in Letymbou and shot the muhtar of the village Georgios Christodolides (ΓεώÏγιος ΧÏιστοδουλίδης).
3. Angeliki Louka (Αγγελική Λουκά) was shot at her house in Trypimeni by unknown men. An official report states that "they were obviously looking for her brother".

1. Ο Παναγιώτης Î ÎÏ„Ïου, 24 ετών από την ΤÏυπημÎνη πυÏοβολήθηκε στη Λευκωσία. Το πυÏοβόλησαν άγνωστοι Ï€Îντε φοÏÎÏ‚ ενώ καθόταν στο γÏαφείο του. Ήταν υπάλληλος του παÏαγγελιοδόχου Σοφοκλή ΧÏ. Μιχαηλίδη στην οδό ΠεÏικλÎους.
2. ΤÎσσεÏις μασκοφόÏοι μπήκαν στο καφενείο της ΛετÏμπου και πυÏοβόλησαν τον μουχτάÏη ΓεώÏγιο ΧÏιστοδουλίδη.
3. Η Αγγελική Λουκά πυÏοβολήθηκε στο σπίτις της στην ΤÏυπημÎνη από άνδÏες οι οποίοι, σÏμφωνα με επίσημη ανακοίνωση, "Ï€Ïοφανώς Îψαχναν τον αδελφό της".
