Ο ήδη παραιτηθείς Μουχτάρης, έστειλε επιστολή στον Διοικητή Λευκωσίας και Κυρηνείας, στην οποία αναφέρει ότι αρνείται να εκτελέσει καθήκοντα Μουκτάρη, όσο η Κυβέρνηση αρνείται να εφαρμόσει την αρχή της Αυτοδιάθεσης.
The already resigned Muktar, sent a letter to the governor of Nicosia and Girne, saying that as long as, the Government is refusing to apply the right of self-determination he will not act as Muktar.
