Κατά τη διάρκεια λειτουργίας αριστερά στοιχεία άρχισαν να επιτίθενται στον ναό και μέλη της εκκλησιαστικής επιτροπής, τα οποία προσπάθησαν να τα σταματήσουν. Επίσης, ζήτησαν να παραιτηθούν τα μέλη της εκκλησιαστικής επιτροπής από τις θέσεις του και να διαλύσουν τον Θρησκυτικό σύλλογο.

During the liturgy of the resurrection, left elements attacked the church and the members of the ecclesiastical commission that went out to stop the vandalisms. The left elements asked also for the members to resign their posts and dissolve the Religious Association.
