Abstract

Last Friday, some Turkish Cypriots distributed some brochures of AKEL. The writer criticises Turkish Cypriots who are members of AKEL and claim that although they argue that we are living without freedom, they want to unite the island either with Greece or with Soviet Union. However, in order to protect the Turkish Cypriot community from the communists, the writer asks Turkish Cypriot workers to be a member of Turkish Workers Federation.
