Τουρκικές εφημερίδες, όπως η "Σον Ποστά", η "Χαβάντις" και άλλες, εκφράζουν σφοδρή κριτική ενάντια στον Νεβζάτ Καραγκίλ, πρόεδρος του συλλόγου "Τουρκική Κύπρος", γιατί δήλωσε ότι ο Δρ. Κιουτσούκ δεν είναι κατάλληλος για Αντιπρόεδρος. Επίσης, οι εφημερίδες δηλώνουν ότι πρέπει να παρέχει η Τουρκία οικονομική βοήθεια γιατί πολύ σύντομα η Τουρκική μειονότητα θα αφανιστεί.

Turkish newspapers, like "Son Posta", "Havadis", and others, express their criticism to Nevzat Karagil, President of the association "Turkish Cyprus", who stated that Dr. Kucuk is not suitable to be Vice-President of the Cyprus Republic. The newspapers also refer that unless Turkey provide financial support the Turkish minority of the island will disappear.
